Antiparos, literally “opposite Paros”, is a small island located 1 mile away from Paros. Antiparos is beautiful and has kept its authentic beauty.
It has beautiful golden sandy beaches, a quiet, traditional and white painted capital, kastro, and it is one of the main attractions are the famous for the caves of Stalactites.

Paros has one of the most famous churches of the Byzantine history: the church of Panagia Ekatonpiliani or Our Lady of Hundreds Gates.
It is said that the church was build by St.Helene, the mother of the first Christians Emperor Constantine the Great...
There are many hotels, apartments, villas, studios, bungalows, rooms…to propose to the visitor.
They are, for most of them, situated in the two main villages of Paros:
Parikia and Naoussa. These two villages are really interesting and
are both situated in huge bays with many beaches. There are also a
lot of beach resorts all over the island.

BEACHES:

Marchello and Krios
These two beaches are situated in the huge bay of Parikia, on the opposite side of the island’s capital of the same name. These are two long and sandy beaches with clear waters. The beach of Krios is connected to the campsite which is just behind and proposes many facilities.
Marchello is much quieter. The two beaches have a nice view over the capital and the capitals’ port with boats getting in and out times to times.
These beaches can be reached by caiques(small fishing boat transformed in summer in tourist transportation) from the port of Parikia with trips every 15mn. These beaches can also be reached by road.

Parasporos
The beach is situated in the south west of Parikia. It is a nice large sandy beach with clear waters. The beach is situated next to a campsite and gets quickly overcrowded. Depending on the wind direction, the beach can create many inoffensive waves which are appreciated by the children. There are a couple of beach bars and some parties are organised in summer time.
The beach can be reached by the road and a bus stop is situated close to it.

Santa Maria Beach
The beach of Santa Maria is situated in the area of Naoussa. It is actually a long beautiful coastline which is divided in several soft sandy beaches. Once there, you will have a great view over the island of Naxos. It is a full organised beach offering sun beds and umbrellas as well as water sports facilities: windsurf, scuba diving…
The beach is connected to a campsite and gets overcrowded in pick season.
Santa Maria can be reached by bus and some times even by caique from the port of Naoussa.
